  A Vacancy has arisen for a Locum Registrar in General Surgery based a busy Teaching hospital in the West Midlands.

. Post commences 1 February 2009, for an initial period of 3 months
. Locum post is based at a Teaching hospital in the Birmingham Area
. Excellent Remuneration package that includes High rates of pay, accommodation and travel.

The ideal candidate should hold MRCS and have UK experience at a registrar level; you will be expected to take part in a 1:8 on call rota.

The Successful Locum will join a dynamic team consisting of six Consultant General Surgeons each with subspecialty interests that include Endocrine, Breast, Colorectal, Upper GI, Minimally invasive and Day Surgery.

The Hospital has excellent facilities and a state of the art academic centre and Library.
