  There is an exciting training opportunity for an SHO Neonatology doctor in a large teaching hospital in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. This post requires very little past-experience in neonatology and only a keenness and desire to learn and develop.

*** €38,000 Basic + Overtime
*** Financial Assistance Provided for Books and Training
*** Start Date: ASAP

REGISTRATION WITH THE IRISH MEDICAL COUNCIL IS PREFERABLE

In this role you will be encouraged to work with as many different cases as possible; with this approach to your work you can be assured to progress quickly and receive good feedback from your Consultants.

Initially, you will be working closely with the other Senior House Officers in Neonatology, completing the following work:
- Managing admissions
- Performing initial diagnosis
- Recommending treatments
- Referring patients onto the Registrars and Consultants
- Attending ward rounds

Throughout your time at this hospital you will be trained and encouraged to develop new skills and interests. Furthermore, you will be allocated a grant to help you further your career and training.
