Urgent Vacancy I would like to present this unique opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join our prestigious private organisation in the Midland...RESPONSIBILITIES • To be responsible to Head of Therapy concerning role and working conditions. • To be responsible to Consultant Psychiatrists concerning clinical activities. • To function within the overall philosophy of the Unit. • To be responsible for implementing psychological assessments of patients. Such assessments will include cognitive, behavioural and functional. These assessments will include an initial full assessment and case review, which will be carried out and reported within one week of a patient's admission. • To be responsible for further full assessment and case reviews, at times thereafter. • To be responsible (under the supervision of Head of Therapy and Consultant Psychiatrists) for the implementation of methods of recording behaviour. • To be responsible (under the supervision of Head of Therapy and Consultant Psychiatrists) for implementing individual and group treatment techniques for cognitive problems. • To be responsible (under the supervision of Head of Therapy and Consultant Psychiatrists) for implementing behaviour management programmes. • To be responsible (under the supervision of Head of Therapy and Consultant Psychiatrists) for implementing individual and group psychological treatments for affective disorders (eg. anxiety and depression), and for ameliorating problems and insight and reality testing. • To be responsible (under the supervision of Head of Therapy and Consultant Psychiatrists) for implementing individual and group programmes directed at problems of social behaviour particularly social skills training and anger management. • To conduct appropriate research under the direction of Head of Therapy and Consultant Psychiatrists. • To carry out other tasks as instructed by Head of Therapy. • To comply with company policies and procedures including the Quality Management System. • To comply with all regulations as laid down in respect of Health & Safety for residents, visitors and staff.
