Our services have been appointed by an NHS Trust in Wales to help recruit them a Specialty Doctor Urologist on an NHS Fixed Term basis.
The post holder would be actively involved in the provision of urological services within a multi-disciplinary team. The post is also suitable for post core surgical trainee candidates looking to gain additional urology and research experience prior to applying for run-through specialist training. Active research and supervision for postgraduate degree would be encouraged for interested candidates.
Our clients Urology Department has a dedicated, purpose built Urology Diagnostic unit with 6 bedded ward, Endoscopy suit and clinic rooms. It also houses rooms for one stop clinics and their resident Lithotripter machine.
This Health Board employs approximately 18,000 staff and has a budget of £1.1 billion. It is responsible for the operation of 3 district general hospitals as well as 22 other acute community hospitals.
