NHS CONSULTANT RHEUMATOLOGY VACANCY

We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK help them recruit a Consultant Rheumatologist on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.


Our client achieved “Outstanding” in their 2016 Care Quality Commission inspection and an overall “Good” rating across the rest of the hospital. This is a regional center of excellence for several key specialties including Obesity Research, Neurophysiology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology and Cancer Services. The Trust has a perfect location which offers both London and Midlands within easy reach, access to major motorways and an international airport within immediate proximity.

This is a newly created post to join an existing team of 6 well established a Rheumatologists. The preferred interest will be in Bone Health and Osteoporosis. Where possible, the Consultant will develop a research interest compatible with the background of the department and it facilities.

The Consultant will attend weekly MDT meetings and fortnightly X-ray meetings and will be expected to help support and train the SpR's and other junior medical staff.
