SENIOR CLINICAL FELLOW ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY ST3– MIDLANDS


A University Teaching NHS Trust in the Midlands area has appointed us to help them recruit Senior Clinical Fellow OMFS for an initial 12 month NHS Fixed Term Contract, with a view to extend.

Vacancy Information:

This is a perfect opportunity to get excellent experience in OMFS including rotations in Oncology and deformity sub-specialties. You will work closely with Consultants, other junior doctors and multidisciplinary teams. Our client is home to the major trauma center in its region and therefore experience in trauma management would be beneficial.

Our clients OMFS department has 6 surgeries equipped for outpatient and minor surgical use, including a large theater space suitable for Bariatric & mobility-impaired patients, a recovery room, 2 clinical rooms and a number of interview rooms.

There are separate Polyclinicas and surgeries for Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry and the Department has its on dedicated X-Ray facility (with CBCT) and award winning Laboratory providing oral & facial prosthetics using 3D modelling techniques.

Essential criteria for the post:
- Full GMC registration (or GDC)
- MRCS
- Good and wide ranging recent experience of OMFS experience in an acute inpatient setting
- Able to work within a team
