Consultant Radiologist - Permanent position based in Greater Manchester

A prestigious NHS hospital based in Greater Manchester are urgently seeking to appoint an experienced Consultant Radiologist (General or with a special interest in Breast Radiology) to join their multidisciplinary team.

The position is for a Consultant Radiologist to join 7 existing Consultants to further develop the department and service provided to patients.

The successful candidate will be jointly responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Radiology service for the NHS Trust. You will also work closely with the other consultants to ensure efficient running of the service and to contribute where appropriate for the training of junior medical staff.

The current job plan is based on a 10 PA contract but is flexible to meet the demands of the service. Upon successful appointment, you will be able negotiate your PA.

The position offers a basic salary of £75,249 - £101,451 (depending on experience) with pay enhancements paid for any additional PAs. You will also be given banding payments and annual remuneration bonuses.

In order to be considered for the position you must hold the FRCR or equivalent and be on the Specialist Register (or within six months of obtaining CCT)
