Our services have been appointed to recruit a Consultant Respiratory Physician by one of the most high performing and driven hospitals in the UK. The Hospital is based in the South West of England and they are looking to recruit either on a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis. The successful candidate will join a friendly, forward-thinking team.

The appointee will join an active and busy respiratory department and will be required to work as a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine undertaking the full range of duties including inpatient reviews, outpatient clinics, bronchoscopy sessions and MDT meetings.
There will be a commitment to participate in the Consultant Physician on-call rota on a 1:11 basis. The general medical department consists of full-time and part-time consultant physicians, two specialty doctors, ten ST3, ten ST1 & four foundation year 2 and twelve foundation year one doctors.

The hospital is situated in an environment that offers an excellent quality of life. It is located off the south coast of England and has a population of 138,000. It has much to offer in the way of outdoor leisure pursuits, family living and is also home to the annual music festival. It is a beautiful place to live and relax after work.

• Two respiratory consultants (including this post);

You should be fully registered with the GMC and hold a licence to practice. Applicants must have entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within six months of the interview date).
