Consultant in Rheumatology

We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Rheumatology on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Rheumatology department.

The successful appointee will be joining a rheumatology department that will expect the appointee help fulfil their objectives that are: Delivering a high quality and effective Rheumatology service at the Hospital which meets national access and quality standards & maintaining the standing of the Rheumatology Department as a specialist centre. In addition, the appointee will be expected to fulfil certain duties such as: delivering Out-patient clinics, specifically including ultrasound, early arthritis and general rheumatology, contribution to research, teaching and new developments within the Rheumatology department, to link with Consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within the CSU, contribution to Clinical Governance and audit programmes & the appointee will be required to participate in the undergraduate teaching programme for the school of Medicine.
