We're supporting a leading diagnostics organisation in securing a highly skilled Consultant Cellular Pathologist to join an expanding team at the forefront of personalised medicine and biomarker development.

The Role
You'll work as part of a respected Cellular Pathology team responsible for:
✔️ Detailed histopathological and cytopathological examination of tissue samples
✔️ Reporting and presenting findings to internal project teams and external partners
✔️ Supporting development and validation of novel biomarker assays used in drug discovery
✔️ Maintaining compliance with GCP and laboratory accreditation standards
✔️ Advising on specimen quality and contributing to continuous service improvement
✔️ Optional involvement in clinical research, publications, and client meetings
✔️ Mentoring colleagues and contributing to the scientific knowledge base

Salary

What We're Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
• Specialist GMC Registration (essential)
• Medical degree with full GMC licence to practise
• CCT in Histopathology (or equivalent qualification)
• FRCPath or equivalent
• Broad experience across histopathological diagnosis
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary scientific teams
