West London | 12-Month Fixed-Term NHS Locum Contract

Salary: £113,565 - £150,569 per annum (plus applicable on-call supplement)

An NHS Trust in West London is seeking a Locum Breast & General Consultant Radiologist to join its established Radiology Department on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation undergoing significant redevelopment and service transformation, including a major hospital rebuild programme and integration within a collaborative imaging network across North West London.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will play a key role within a well-established symptomatic breast service, providing:

- Independent symptomatic breast imaging including mammography, ultrasound and image-guided intervention
- Leadership and participation in Breast MDT meetings
General radiology reporting including CT, MRI, ultrasound and plain film reporting
- Acute radiology and contribution to the consultant on-call rota
Teaching, training and service development activities within the department

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have:

- Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- FRCR qualification
- Specialist Register status (or be within six months of CCT)
- Significant NHS consultant-level experience within a symptomatic breast service
- Commitment to teaching, clinical governance and service improvement
